From Belief to Action: The Impact of Morena's Foods & Drinks
Why I started Morena's Foods & Drinks project
The idea for this project arose from my desire to connect my business and my faith. For me, being a Christian means more than just praying or going to church. It's about doing good for others, showing love through actions, and letting people experience what it truly means to care for one another.
What affects me most is the stark reality of poverty, even within families. I see it daily on social media: people asking for financial help with groceries, sharing simple survival recipes, or families who don't know how to get through the week. Then there are the homeless who beg for a meal or rummage through trash bins for what they need. They are often judged or put down. Of course, there are always better choices to be made, but that doesn't change the fact that no one should have to suffer this way.
Caring for each other together: relief in difficult times.
I, too, have experienced moments where I struggled to make ends meet. That feeling—constantly struggling to get through the day or week—is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. That's why I want to do my part to ease people's worries and give families and individuals some breathing room.
My greatest inspiration stems from my faith. The Bible tells us that God always provides for us and that we should also care for each other—even our enemies. Jesus himself set the example by feeding the multitudes by breaking bread and multiplying fish. This teaches me that as followers of Christ, we should not only talk about our faith but also put it into practice. When we help others with a joyful heart, blessings will naturally flow in abundance.

My dream and vision extend beyond the Netherlands. I want to expand God's work and make an impact internationally—not just in places where the need is greatest, but wherever my leadership leads me. I'm convinced that, together with a team of like-minded people with a loving heart and the same vision, I can fight poverty and transform lives.
This is no ordinary project for me. It comes straight from the heart. Yes, it requires funding and dedication, but that's secondary. What I get in return is priceless: smiling faces, full stomachs, and people who find renewed hope for the days and weeks ahead.
